Found Dog Tags
This site was created |
January 28 - Heard this story on Channel 12 (AZ) news last night and wanted to pass it on. A man by the name of John Lozano, a hair stylist in a local Scottsdale salon received a call from an elderly couple in Hew Hampshire. They told him that they had recently returned from Vietnam and that they are a part of a local network of people buying up dog tags of soldiers in Vietnam. The cost of these tags run from $1 -$1.5. The couple informed John that they had found his lost dog tag. The couple mailed the dog tag to him with a noted that read "Welcome Home". John stated the he now feels like he is home because when you lose a tag it's like losing a part of yourself.
Cyclequest.com came across and added the link above called 'Found Dog Tags' to this page just a few months ago. What a cool story. Please visit the site.

Here's a new site called 'Operation Network Military Moms' It's geared towards supporting family members that are away from home serving our country, supporting mom's in their absence and building a stronger America. Word has it that they are going 'non-profit' so the link will be changing to www.milmoms.ORG soon. |

Here's a new site sent in by my son called 'Go Army/United'. It has a short little video that's really pretty cool. I'm partial, I'm an Army mom. I don't have fancy video capabilities but when viewed in real player - low it works good. It's worth posting. |
