MOTORCYCLIST'S PRAYER

Lord, thank you for the open air, The Feel of wind blowing through my hair;
Just me alone upon my bike, The thrill of freedom is what I like

To wind through country unexplored, Not knowing what I'll see next, Lord.
That's what I seek when off I ride. I'm thankful that you're by my side.

If I should ride till morning's light, Please keep me safe throughout the night,
And when I come to journey's end, It's you I'll thank - Protector, Friend.

The Christian Motorcyclists Assoc. was organized in 1975 by evangelist Herb Shreve of Hatfield, Arkansas for the purpose of reaching the motorcycling world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Since that humble beginning, God has poured out His blessing on the organization and it has grown steadily to over 80,000 members nation-wide.

Biker's Blessing

"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."

Because I have made the Lord my refuge, even the Most High my dwelling place, no evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling' for He shall give His angels charge over me, to get me in all my  ways.  His angels are ministering spirits sent forth to minister to those like me who will inherit His Salvation.  If I set my love upon Him, He  will be with me in trouble and show me His Salvation.

Even though all have sinned and there is not one righteous in His sight, while I was yet a sinner, Christ died for me.  He promised that if I would confess with my mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe and am justified, and it is with my mouth that I confess and am saved; for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Therefore, I call upon You Jesus to not only bless me with provision and protection, but to also bless me with Your Promise of Eternal Life.  I surrender my life to You to be my Savior and Lord.  Please forgive me of my sins.  Give me a new mind, a new heart, and a new life.  Direct me in my daily decisions so I can turn from sin and walk in Your peace.  Take me to Heaven when I die and fill me with Your Holy Spirit right now.  Thank you for hearing my prayer and coming into my life.  By faith in Your promise, I am saved!   I am forgiven!  I am blessed!
