As we lobbyists have been
saying over and over and over, you NEED to know who your State and Congressional
Senator and Reps are. In order for motorcyclists to be effective in the
political arena, you must be ready to TAKE ACTION when called upon by the
motorcycle lobby to do so.
Remember my saying that being 'IGNORANT' is nothing more than lack of knowledge
and that we CANNOT afford to be 'IGNORANT'? Well there is no excuse. Your
Motorcycle Lobbyists provide you with up-to-date action that needs to be taken,
and exactly who to contact, and in some cases what it is we need you to say!
BUT, we cannot 'Dial the frickin phone for you'. We need you to do that!
TO FIND OUT WHO YOUR CONGRESSIONAL AND STATE LEGISLATORS ARE, and all the
information you'll ever need to know, do the following:
GO TO - www.azleg.state.az.us
CLICK on - "Senate Information" (right on page)
CLICK on - "Senators" (left column)
CLICK on - "Who's Your Senator" (middle of page)
CLICK on - "Search for Your Senator by Zip Code" (middle of page)
ENTER - your 9-digit Zip Code (left column)
This will return back the following info:
- Any State Election Info Available
- Current Officials (Pres - VP)
- Your U.S. Senator / Rep
- Your State Senator / Reps
- Links to all AZ State Offices
- Current Presidential Candidates
THEN - if you click on an individual legislators info, you will receive the
following:
- Picture of them
- Family members names
- Birthplace/date
- Educational background
- Professional Experience
- Political Experience
- List of Organizations they belong to (this can be real helpful)
- Contact Info
- Plus you can click on 'campaign finances', 'issue positions', 'voting
record' plus more!
NOW you will not be 'IGNORANT', and you will have the information you need to
take the action we need you to take, to make us effective!!!
