A Report from the 'Webwench' The ‘Third Annual ‘Run with The Fools’ Charity Event’ was a huge success and The Fools, The Farley McDavidson Road show and the Modified Motorcycle Association of AZ would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the event and helped make it a success. They raised over $2,400 for our Charity and had some Fun while doing it. The event was held at The Roadrunner Restaurant and Saloon in New River, AZ. For a mere $15 there were three stops that included a ‘People Choice’ Bike Show a Car Show and an All Terrain Sport Utility Vehicle Show. Included was a game card, T-shirts and ride pins to the first 100 signed in and a meal. If you couldn’t do the ride you could enter the event for $10. Tees were a big item and they went fast including the 150+/- for purchase at the event. Seem a lot of people were asking for the purple ones but they were for coordinators and the many volunteers that made the event what it was. Maybe there will be more than black for the masses next year. There was DJ music from 10-2pm and live music from 2pm on featuring Straydog, The Blueshounds, The Fools Unplugged, Eighth Day and Fool’s Life Band. There were Door Prizes, a Silent Auction, Raffles, Vendors, Tattoo Contest, Award Presentations and a Men’s Pole Dancing & Ladies Wet T-shirt Contest. All proceeds went to benefit ‘Childhelp’, www.childhelp.org which exists to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of abused and neglected children. All of the Participants in the People’s Choice Shows and the Contests. All of our friends and businesses that provided gifts for the Raffles, Door Prizes and Silent Auction.
